Kidney Beans Chili Vegan & Gluten-free

Kidney beans Tomato Veggies Water Oil Spices  Aromatics

Prep work

Cook the kidney beans and keep them aside. 

Finely chop the onions, tomatoes and veggies.

You can use canned beans also. Rinse them well and keep aside.

Step 1

Heat a sturdy pan. When it's hot, add some oil, finely chopped onion, and garlic.

Step 2

Cook the onions until they become translucent.

Step 3

Now, add the veggies one at a time and mix them together.

Step 4

Put in finely chopped tomatoes and cook the veggie mix for a few minutes.

Step 5

Then, add the spice powders - ground cumin, paprika powder, dried oregano, freshly ground black pepper, and salt.

Step 6

Add water and the cooked kidney beans. Mix it well.

Step 7

I used a potato masher to make the chili creamier.

Step 7

Once the chili thickens to your liking, take it off the heat.
