Quinoa Pudding (Easy & healthy recipe)

Main Ingredients

Quinoa Coconut milk (or any milk) Sweetener Toppings

Wash the quinoa twice and drain the water from it completely. Washing the quinoa will remove bitterness from it.

Step 1

Add this washed quinoa and water to a thick-bottomed cooking vessel. Let it cook for 10 to 15 minutes on low flame with a closed lid.

Step 2

By now, quinoa will absorb almost all of the water.  Now add coconut milk and cook it further for ten more minutes on medium flame.

Step 3

Add sugar and let it simmer for five more minutes. If using honey or maple syrup, switch off the flame and add it.

Step 4

Switch off the flame and add a pinch of cardamom powder or cinnamon powder. You can use any flavoring agent.

Step 5

Mix it well, and healthy, delicious quinoa pudding is ready to serve. Serve it with fresh fruits and dry fruits!

To make this recipe a quinoa breakfast porridge, I would skip the sugar, add honey or maple syrup, and serve it with lots of fresh fruit.
