Instant pot Pasta Soup

With pasta, beans, and veggies, this is a meal by itself that is so easy, and you can make it even on busy weeknights or for relaxing weekends.

Ingredients

Pasta Kidney beans Veggies Aromatics & herbs Oil

Prep work

Chop the veggies and keep them aside. If using canned beans, drain and rinse them a couple of times.

Step 1

Start the instant pot in saute mode. Add oil, bay leaves, garlic, ginger, and onion. Let it fry for 2 minutes.

Step 2

Next goes chopped carrots and stir it once.

Step 3

Now add the crushed tomatoes, pepper powder, salt, and dried oregano. Mix it well.

Step 4

To this tomato mixture, now add the boiled beans and stir it well.

Step 5

Add pasta, water and mix it well.

Step 6

Pressure cook the soup for 4 minutes on high pressure. Once done, release the pressure after 5 minutes.

Step 7

Add the chopped kale and basil. Close the instant pot with its lid for 5 minutes.
