    Detailed Steps

    Rinsed mung bean sprouts added to the Instant Pot inner pot.

    Step 1: Rinse the sprouts thoroughly and add them to the inner pot of the Instant Pot. Add two tablespoons of water as well.

    Step 2: Pressure cook on HIGH for 0 minutes. Quickly release pressure carefully.

    A quick and easy method for steaming sprouts in the Instant Pot without a steamer basket. Perfectly cooked sprouts, ready in just minutes, are great for salads, soups, and more.

    Ingredients
      

    • 2 cups mung bean sprouts
    • 2 tablespoon water

    Instructions
     

    • Rinse Sprouts: Gently rinse sprouts under cold running water.
    • Prepare Instant Pot: Add 2 tablespoons of water directly into the Instant Pot inner pot.
    • Place Sprouts: Add rinsed sprouts directly into the inner pot.
    • Pressure Cook: Close the lid, set the valve to "Sealing," and pressure cook on HIGH for 0 minutes.
    • Quick Release: Once done, carefully turn the valve to "Venting" for quick release.
    • Serve: Drain any excess water, and season sprouts with a pinch of salt if desired.

    Notes

    Tested Tips from My Kitchen

    • Avoid adding too much water; 2 tablespoons is perfect for steaming.
    • Season sprouts after steaming to maintain texture.
    • Store leftovers in an airtight container for 2-3 days.
